Manage and supervise day to day operation of the overall accounting and finance function. Responsible for all management reporting on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis, to ensure timely and accurate reporting in compliance with QL Resources Berhad Group Approved Policies. Monitor cost management to ensure effective management of working capital, cost control and close monitoring on debtors aging for timely collections. Also includes Financial analysis, including analysis of financial results against budget and highlight variation to management. Review, plan and manage all tax matters to ensure accurate and timely tax submissions, estimates and revisions. This includes preparation of tax and deferred tax computations on quarterly and yearly basis, and liaising with tax agent to monitor tax positions or tax audits of the companies. Co-ordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate timely and compliant audit. Communicate and implement policies and procedures at assigned companies to ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards requirements. Review and maintain insurance coverage for all assets, monitor and supervise all insurance claims matters of the companies in compliance with Risk Management policies to mitigate enterprise risk and expedites claim process. Support budgeting and forecasting activities of the assigned companies including half year budget review to facilitate the annual budgeting process. Co-ordinate and assist in accounting software updates or modifications. Provide ongoing guidance and motivation to staff in carrying out their roles and responsibilities, which include coaching and mentoring, delegation of work, setting goals, conducting performance reviews and overseeing the training/development need of the staff.

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent. MBA or recognized professional accounting qualification (ACCA,CIMA, CPA, MIA, MACPA or equivalent). At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Has experiences in matters pertaining to audit, taxation and handling full set of accounts. Those with overseas experience with commercial exposure has added advantage. Strong accounting knowledge and well versed with IFRS and taxation.. Excellent organizational, communication and analytical skills. Able to develop a strong financial control environment and provide meaningful financial information for decision making. Demonstrated experience in supervising accounting and finance function to ensure local law, regulation, SOP, accounting standards are adhered to. Willing to be posted in Bekasi, Indonesia for at least 3 years or more. Successful incumbent will be provided with a company car and suitable accommodation.
