Position Overview Both Full Time and Part Time positions are available for a motivated General Nurse at our site in Palelai 1 Village, Poipet Commune, Poypet district, Banteay Meanchey Province, Cambodia. The successful nurse must be willing to participate in a 24-hour roster. The general nurse will have a history of actively participating in the sharing of knowledge, will have a willingness to participate in team activities, a history of patient care at a high standard, and will have an understanding of Medical Ethics and Clinical Practice Standards. The ideal applicant will also demonstrate a desire to undertake independent learning to improve knowledge, clinical skills, interpersonal communication skills, professionalism, and customer service. The applicant must be willing to abide by and have knowledge of, the regulations as outlined in the Neak Tep Elegant Clinic Internal Regulations, and the Cambodian Labour Law. All shortlisted applicants must provide copies of their Credentials, References, and will be required to attend an Interview with Neak Tep Elegant Clinic Management. Job Description • Demonstrate and participate in teamwork • Undertake nurse responsibilities in consultation with Medical Staff • Perform any X Rays, ECGs when requested by the doctor • Carry out an initial assessment with all patients • Assists with the insertion of an IV Catheter, blood collection, and IV fluid administration • Perform minor procedures and wound dressing • Liaise with pathology to ensure correct information is transferred to and from pathology when requested to do so by Medical Staff • Liaise with the Laboratory, Physiotherapy Department, General Surgery Department, and external health services for patient referral • Keep all work areas clean, tidy, and hygienically safe • Undertake your daily responsibilities of caring for equipment as instructed by the nurse leader • Responsible for administering medication when rostered to do so • First point of contact for all patients, demonstrating a high standard of customer service • Hand over patient information to incoming nurses at the change of shift • Demonstrate motivation at work and good communication • Abide by rostered hours including night-time on-call duties • Respect and abide by Neak Tep Elegant Clinic policies
