Jobs Description

• Reviews tax return prepared by other tax personnel • Represents clients before the tax return submission • Responsible for on-site visit, including preparation as it relates to the tax practice area • Directs and coordinates tax planning for less complex client situations • Contributes to the client service team by producing quality work with quick turnaround and attentive service • Delegates work to tax staff, tax accountants and supervises their work • Responsible for reviewing peer and subordinate documents • Demonstrates initiative, creativity, and imagination in approaching work • Assist with engagement letters and all related compliance framework • Assists accounting and consulting staff members in client meetings • Performs complex research on taxation law and regulation and other tax issue • Prepares research memoranda, written correspondence/guidance, and other documents for internal use and submission to the tax authorities • Develops and models an understanding of firm philosophy, values and tax opinions • Co-Trains and supervises staff; reviews and evaluates their work • Coordinates the variety of training related to tax areas • Facilitates in-house tax training • Delegates work to tax staff, tax accountants, and tax supervisors and supervises their work • Leads tax software and technology process development and enhancements • Coordinate and solve issues related to accounting and tax projects

Jobs Requirement

• Extensive individual/corporate/partnership tax knowledge • Strong accounting, analytical, and research skills. • Excellent written and oral communication skills. • Strong knowledge of tax code, compliance and procedures for corporations. • Strong experience with a variety of tax operations and ability to drive process improvements. • Strong ability to utilize project management and accounting best practices to organize and prioritize tasks and the tasks of other tax team members. • Ability to work well independently as well as the ability to work well with stakeholders and communicate the benefits of tax initiatives.
