1. Treasury Management: - Controls, analyses and allocates cash flow in order to minimize the financial cost and ensures that sufficient funds are available to meet on going operational requirements. - Manages daily, weekly, month and annually activities in treasury functions to meet financial obligations of the Bank. - Manage the bank’s asset and liabilities. - Reviews and manages the balance sheet in terms of size, composition, liquidity and exposure level and ensuring currencies risks are well managed. - Analyses, develops and manages daily money exchange dealing. - Builds and maintains banking relationships with local, foreign bankers and FX business partner. - Gathers, analyses, and organizes financial information on financial industry and identifies market risks. 2. Asset Liability Committee (ALCO), Funds Transfer and Investment Management: - Prepares ALCO term of reference and frameworks - Develops reports and responds to ALCO’s requirements and recommendations. - Develop Funds Transfer policy and guideline - Develop the investment policy and guideline - Invest the surplus funds - Control the Bank’s counterparty, position limits and any excesses - Manages the bank’s Nostro accounts
