Jobs Description

** Job Purpose: Lead, direct and provide strategic direction for all consumer and retail credit related matters including but limited to credit policies, collection & recovery Strategies, fraud management with a view to maximise productivity and effectiveness whilst ensuring adherence to statutory requirements and supporting the Group’s business objectives and risk appetite. ** Key Responsibilities: * Strategy and Planning: - Establish a robust Consumer Credit Operation framework including but not limited to consumer and retail credit underwriting, collection & recoveries and fraud management for Cambodia. - Provide strategic direction for overall credit management daily operation activities. - Strategize and steer the collection & recovery efforts with the aim of maximising recoveries and minimising losses. - Provide assurance that all processes and framework are in compliance with internal guidelines and Central Brank of Cambodia * Business Performance and Management: - Responsible for evaluating and providing recommendations for consumer and retail credit underwriting policy to ensure the fine balance of risk and reward is well maintained. - In Collections, to ensure proper management of account receivables by minimising the credit losses and maximising recoveries. Heighten the teams’ readiness to prepare for any economic slowdown identification of any Risk Mitigation Programmes to assist customers. - Communicate and ensure proper execution of the defined collection strategies maximizing the productivity and effectiveness of technology and collectors. Responsible for preparing and presenting the annual cost budget. * People Management: - Develop, build and lead an effective and cohesive CCO team that operates seamlessly. - Create and encourage culture change to align with the identified strategies and applicable CIMB framework. - To retain and develop talent with CIMB. * Regulatory Compliance: - Ensure all Consumer Credit Operations policies and procedures comply with CIMB Policies and Standards. Ensure proper documentation of all in-country policies and procedures and that they are maintained and updated at all times - To enforce the Bank’s credit policies and procedures - Accountable for compliance with operational risk, reputational risk, Treating Customer Fairly policy, and local regulations on collection activities including but not limited to customer data privacy, physical contact and use of third party agency guidelines.

Jobs Requirement

** Knowledge Skills and Experience: - Degree/Master Degree * Technical/Functional skills: - In depth knowledge of consumer credit operations and consumer banking products and services, including the rules and regulations in the domestic and international landscapes - Leverages regulatory, political and business contacts to shape/influence the business and regulatory environment in key markets/industries * Personal skills (Soft Competencies [Core/Leadership]): - Possess excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills. - Strong presentation and influencing skills, required in guiding and assisting teams in putting forward proposals. - Build strong culture of excellent service and growth opportunities for CIMB Group to attract and retain top talents.
