- Support to plan, design and implement Operational Risk Management (ORM) policy and procedures, implementation of IRM Framework and the relevant processes/ procedures for the organization, approved by the Board, as recommended by the Board Risk Committee, which includes proper implementation of risk classification and risk management systems. - Support in establishing and quantifying the organization’s 'risk appetite', i.e. the level of risk they are prepared to accept through the KRI’s in terms of operational risk incidents to safeguard the earnings and capital of the bank. - Develop a risk register by analysis internal audit reports and market data to compile and maintain the risk register. Present such data to Senior Management Committee, Board Risk Management Committee. - Commence the Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA) for all the departments and relevant processes to identify the inherent and residual risk of the organization in terms of operational risk. Based on the RCSA results make recommendations to mitigate the residual risks. - Develop required data capture formats and registers for operational risk incident monitoring and management. Commence compiling operational risk incidents, report such incidents to management and ensure that proper implementation of corrective actions by the relevant business unit/ process. - Ensure regulatory compliance, as recommended by Central Bank of Myanmar and any other regulatory body and guidelines on Risk Management and other directions/circulars issued from time to time and review internal policies to ensure compliance to such standards. - Advice to business units/ Processes owners on new product or process development in terms of operational risk and propose controls to mitigate the inherent risks of the product/ process. - Review new processes and products for embedded operation risks and provide recommendations to the BRMC before approval. - Developing and implementing best practice processes to manage all aspects of Operational Risk for Strategic Partnerships, in line with the Bank's Operational Risk & Management Framework and CBM guideline - Any other task as stipulated by the CRO or Management of the Bank.

- Degree in Banking and Finance or relevant field or a professional qualification - Post Graduate degree is preferable - At least 6+ years of experience in Operational Risk Management, Internal Audit, Operations, Information Technology Operations in a bank or a Financial Institution - Understanding of Central Bank of Myanmar regulations. - Understanding/ knowledge in international best practices in Operational Risk Management in Banks or Financial Institutes. - Have general understanding of overall operations in a bank or financial institution
