Position: Senior Quality Assurance Specialist *Budget range: open to discuss *Date of join: This job contributes to Starbucks success by supporting implementation and execution of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance programs to ensure the availability of safe, wholesome, premium quality finished products for our customers. Models and acts in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles. * Role and responsibility: Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: • Help & contribute in the development, implementation, management, monitoring and review of an integrated quality assurance program to ensure that quality and safety standards are met for food, beverage and merchandise items manufactured, distributed and sold by Starbucks • Work with suppliers to coach, guide, monitor & verify that suppliers are carrying out QA activities according to the Starbucks standards and local requirements. • Work with cross function team on potential suppliers, facility and quality system assessment, evaluation & approval. Work with existing suppliers on the quality management of existing skus & new skus, issues investigations & resolutions, and continuous improvement. • Provide regulatory update and review to ensure product source and import compliance with local regulation. • Work with cross functional team to support business initiatives from QA perspective • Work with cross function team to ensure Food Safety and Cleanliness in retail stores up to Starbucks standard. Manage second party auditing service. Provide training to internal partners. • Supports investigation and troubleshooting of issues and concerns from retail stores and customers. Implements corrective action as required. Documents findings and communicates results to affected stakeholders. Take learning from each issue & incident to improve the system. • Implements and improves internal Quality Assurance system and standards

•Degree in quality assurance, food science or biological discipline. •3+ years of experience in F&B or retail operations, in execution of food safety management program. •Experience in Quality Assurance program management & execution in restaurant chains & manufacturers. •Solid Food Science / QA background to identify if there are any potential risks from the current operations / new initiatives / workflows / market changes and be able to make improvements. •Ability to solve vendor quality problems through data, processes and influencing skills. •Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken in English and interpret ideas. •Positive attitude / mindset •Ability to conduct food safety audits and/or interpret food safety audit reports to management in weekly/ monthly basis. •Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook, preferably video editing skills. •Excellent strategic thinking, problem solving, analytical and negotiation skills •Able to work independently and as a team We offer you a career with Starbucks, a great working environment, a rewarding package, systematic training programs and employee benefits.
