** Technician Key Duties The Technician shall have the following key duties: - Property Handover The Technician working closer with the Senior Technical Supervisor shall oversee the installation of electrical and plumbing equipment at the retail centre. They shall oversee and co-ordinate the hand-over of technical equipment for the retail centre from the MEP sub-contractors. The Technician should have skill and experience in electrical and plumbing as these two areas will be a main focus for the Technician. - Retail Tenant Store Fit-Out Monitoring, checking, coordinating, assisting and working with tenants and their fit-out contracts to ensure fit-out works within the Retail Mall are compliant, safe, and well managed. This will include following our fit-out guide and rules and regulations, monitoring works, ensuring safety and approving drawings and agreeing approved works. This shall be supported by Mall Manager and Senior Technical Supervisor. - Reactive and Preventative Maintenance The Technician shall be part of a team responsible for the upkeep of all the mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire safety equipment at the Mall. The Technician with the Senior Technical Supervisor shall oversee sub-contractors to ensure they are performing their duties, control warranties and guarantees and ensure the upkeep of the Mall. The Technician shall support the Senior Technical Supervisor with the preventative maintenance of equipment as well as keep control of the equipment inventory. Technician – Role and Responsibilities: - Oversee, control and monitor electrical and plumbing works and equipment - Provide day-to-day technical management of the retail centre ensuring the mall operates without disruption - Ensure that equipment for the mall operates efficiently including electrical and plumbing and other systems as required. - Support the Mall Management office and follow-up on any outstanding technical issues relating to any facility or operation disruption. - Work closely with contractors and suppliers to fix, repair and make improvements as needed. - Co-ordinate and work with sub-contractors to ensure work is finished on-time without delays and to a high standard. - Monitor tenant fit-out works, reinstatement works and ensure the work complies with the Mall rules and regulations. - Identify any problems or issues with equipment. - Comply with purchase order, record and inventory management procedures for any equipment or materials required for the building. - Look for ways to reduce electricity costs where possible. - Carry out any other duties as assigned by the Mall Manager or Managing Director
