* Position summary: Admissions to our institute are a complex and involved process. We pride ourselves on providing personalised attention to each family and their individual hopes for their children. Every enquiry and visit is the future of our institute. With current students from Cambodia and Japan, KIT is promoting our institute to other countries, especially in ASEAN region. With this situation, the Admissions Officer is a crucial role with a range of internal and external customers (current and future students) to deal with. Attention to detail and excellent administration skills are a must as is the highest level of professionalism in order to support the Admissions and Marketing strategy for driving attraction, recruitment and retention of students both from Cambodia and outside Cambodia at KIT Cambodia. * MAIN KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: ▪Determines admissibility, transferability of credit, and residency for new and readmitted undergraduate students; classifies and places students into appropriate academic units. ▪Visits schools and colleges physically and virtually via online, speaks to groups and individual students, and meets with school officials to develop partnerships between KIT Cambodia and the schools throughout the ASEAN region; coordinates community workshops, retreats, and on-site admissions programs. ▪Advises students and families regarding educational opportunities and options, admission and other requirements, policies and procedures, transfer of credit, and financial assistance, as appropriate. ▪Contributes to the institutional database of prospective/potential and current students especially in the ASEAN region. ▪Analyzes trends in student recruitment and retention programs; designs and implements recruitment programs for targeted groups of potential students, and develops strategies for program evaluation. ▪Creates and distributes a range of resource and promotional materials designed for the recruitment and retention of targeted groups. ▪Prepares the entrance examinations for recruiting students who are satisfied with the requirements of KIT Cambodia. ▪Ensure that correct procedures are followed when dealing with international students who are requiring visas and any other documents by Cambodian government. ▪Prepares reports and proposals, and responds to inquiries from students and external agencies. ▪Develops operating goals and objectives for the unit; implements and administers methods and procedures to enhance operations, as appropriate to the unit. ▪Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. ▪Liaise regularly with both academic and administrative staff ▪Perform other tasks assigned by Vice President;

Jobs Requirement

* KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ATTITUDE ▪Understanding of process of student recruitment, admission and related processes; ▪Strong interpersonal and intercultural communication; ▪Some understanding of university internationalization strategies; ▪Some prior working experience working in an international environment or environment of multi nationalities desirable but not required; ▪High level of written and spoken English and Khmer language proficiency; intermediate level of Japanese language is an advantage but not required. ▪A growth mindset (including willing to learn, be mentored, and open to new ideas); ▪High level of work ethics and professionalism; ▪A high achiever with ability to work under pressure, as a team member and independently; ▪Passion for nature, technology and education; ▪Willing to travel to and live in KIT’s beautiful campus (based vKirirom Resort, Kampong Speu) during working days; * BENEFITS: ▪Accident and health care on 24hrs of NSSF ▪Life insurance ▪Yearly increment ▪Severance paid and seniority payment ▪Public holiday is followed Ministry of Labor ▪Transportation ▪Accommodation and 3 meals per day ▪Others required by the labor law are complied with Cambodian labor law.
