Accountabilities: 1.Execution and supervision of execution of trials •Supervise and execute analyses of samples of raw materials and finished products. •Supervise and systematically file analyses, data and results in the system. •Supervise and execute the interpretation and interpret results, signalize potential deviations and communicate to Purchasing and Formulations department. •Supervise and maintain a good working relationship with external laboratories and suppliers. •Supervise and maintain the records for Inventory and Purchase orders, Lab analyses and Quality reports, Audits, Protocols etc. 2.General maintenance and upkeep of facilities: •Supervise and report any breakages or maintenance requirements in the laboratory and maintain good housekeeping procedures. •Maintain laboratory equipment and facilities clean, tidy and functional. JOB PURPOSE: -Responsible for supervising and carrying out the day-to-day operation of the laboratory in the factory to guarantee the right quality of raw materials and finished products according to the company’s standards. -Correctly evaluate material quality, finished products by analyzing specifications in laboratory or analyzing according to company specifications. - University degree in Chemistry/Biology. - Minimum of 1 years work experience in laboratory in operational or supervising role. - Strong analytical skills and high accuracy. - Independent and team player. - Result oriented and flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances. - Natural leadership and strong communication skills. - Fluently in English
