Job Description • Set technology strategy and priorities for Manulife Cambodia to meet local business objectives and align with Manulife global and regional technology directions • Understand industry and competitor technology trends and capabilities to maintain Manulife’s desired competitive position • Take a leading role in driving the agile and digital transformation within Cambodia for the benefit of customers, agents and staff • Foster a culture and environment for innovation where Manulife Cambodia becomes recognized for technology innovation and leadership • Oversee technology spending and ensure spending adheres to budget and that spending is aligned towards strategic priorities • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with Cambodia and regional business leaders • Lead and manage the technology team ensuring retention and development of talent, and continuously improving engagement and ways of working • Maintain the enterprise architecture and ensure application roadmaps are up to date to minimize functional gaps and reduce technical debt • Oversee demand management to agree on delivery priorities within available budget and resources, and manage business expectations appropriately • Timely delivery of products, projects and system enhancements with the right quality and seamless transition to BAU and business users • Monitor and maintain systems stability and resolve incidents within Service Level Agreements with appropriate communication to business leaders and external parties e.g. regulators as required • Manage technology internal and external supplier relationships including Service Level Agreements and performance, as well as specifically responsible for technology related risk for all suppliers • Oversee IT controls and governance to appropriately reduce information and cyber risk, and develop response plans to such incidents

Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, engineering or technology • 10 years’ experience in technology leadership and management roles • Demonstrable experience leading Agile and/or Digital change • Ability to clearly articulate technology priorities to align stakeholders at all levels • Strong understanding of insurance industry and digital trends • Strong understanding of enterprise technologies and architecture patterns • Experience working in a distributed environment with delivery and/or support functions distributed across on and offshore locations • Appreciation for the importance and scope of IT risk and security controls • Demonstrable experience building and leading high performing teams * We are committed to be an equal opportunity employer and welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/belief, sexual orientation or age”.
