- Supervise and coach all buyers and clerks in compliance with the company procedures. - Delegate jobs in accordance with the department organization. - Source for new sourcing or backup sources for materials, machines / equipment and services to support company’s requirement. - Make vendors analysis and select the most reliable sources of supply. - Negotiate with suppliers for optimum purchased price, term, conditions and delivery lead time. - Communicate and maintain good business relationship with suppliers. - Oversee and ensure all purchasing activities comply with the company policies. - Perform other duties as assigned.
