• Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure. • Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end close. • Ensure the accurate and timely processing of positive pay transactions. • Monitors and analyzes department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy. • Advises staff regarding the handling of non-routine reporting transactions. • Supervise the general ledger group to ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met. • Supervise treasury activities including cash flow management and a forex dealing with banks • To deal with tax officers for clearing tax audits. • Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information. • Collaborates with the other department managers to support overall department goals and objectives. • Assist in the development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department. • Ensure a clean and timely year-end annual audit and periodic tax audit. • Supports budget and forecasting activities. • Arrange relevant insurance for the company • Provide training to new and existing staff as needed • Supervise coaches for their performance and development plan • Drive and promote safe behavior in accordance with the Schindler Safety Management System, CSH Fundamentals and the Local labor legislation • Report all Unsafe events and Incidents as per Corporate Safety Fundamental F35 Incident Investigation • Adopt the Schindler Zero tolerance approach towards unsafe behavior and conditions

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration with professional qualifications. ACCA, CPA is a plus • Chief Accountant Certification • Strong analytical skills and sound business judgments • Strong communication, influencing and collaboration skills with excellent written and spoken English • Demonstrates urgency, flexibility, adaptability and desire to learn, clearly defining priorities and objectives • Minimum 4 years experience of which 3 years has to be in an accounting, finance or related business preferably within construction, engineering, project management, and/or service industry. At least 3 years in chief accountant position for a multi-national company essential. • Microsoft Office, SAP
