1. Checking prescriptions to ensure that there are no errors and that they are appropriate and safe for the individual patient 2. Providing advice on the dosage of medicines and the most appropriate form of medication,for example, tablet, injection, ointment or inhaler 3. Liaising with other medical staff on problems patients may experience when taking their medicines 4. Discussing treatments with patients'relatives, community pharmacists and GPs 5. Ensuring medicines are stored appropriately and securely 6. Supervising the work of less experienced and less qualified staff 7. Answering questions about medicines from within the hospital, other hospitals and the general public 8. Writing guidelines for drug use within the hospital and implementing hospital regulations 9. Providing information on expenditure on drugs 10. Preparing and quality-checking medications 11. Setting up and supervising clinical trials.

1. Hold certificate of Diploma in Pharmacy from an institute approved by Ministry of Education 2. Fresh graduate or having some experiences in pharmacy are encouraged 3. Good knowledge of medicines, their uses, and side effects 4. English language proficiency needs to be very good (speaking, writing, listening and reading) 5. Computer literate using Microsoft windows, Excel and pharmacy inventory programs 6. Excellent understanding of pharmacy workflow 7. Must be patient and kind with patients, even when many needs are urgent 8. Must be honest, high ethical, creative, hardworking, flexible and high commitment person 9. Must be self-motivated learner with commitment to personal development 10. Friendly and able to work as a team and willing to cooperate with other staff 11.
