In Southeast Asia alone, the total market size is ~US$4B+, with sector growth driven by a once-in-a-generation opportunity; e-commerce penetration. E-commerce fulfillment in itself is already a US$2B+ space, growing 30% per year. As an operator transporting cargo to over >110 airports across Asia, we are at the frontlines of this large, but unsexy space. This white space motivates us to redefine the way the supply chain operates and be the one-stop end-to-end delivery solutions provider. In enabling this service, 1st Mile, Last Mile and Customs Clearance operations will need to seamlessly integrate with work by our Air Operations team. We are looking for a customer-oriented, energetic and resourceful Executive of Delivery Operations. You will be responsible for ensuring co-ordinated delivery from 1st Mile to Last Mile. In our goals of expediting the delivery process, you will be utilising our in-house technology platforms and need to be comfortable adapting to new technology systems and processes. You will be working with a team of 8-10 people – they will be your lifeline and your family when all the delivery action takes place. You will be based out of Sandakan Airport in the GTR office. This role will be on a full-time basis and you will be reporting daily to the Manager of Delivery Operations. You will fit perfectly if you have prior experience in delivery operations, specifically operations involving 1st Mile and Last Mile deliveries. Having good knowledge in customs procedures and end-to-end delivery operations will make you stand out in this application. A DAY IN A LIFE As a start up, you can expect your days to be pretty varied. Multitasking is normal, and sometimes, your skills or natural talents will be leveraged to support other business priorities. That said, the bulk of your working hours should involve you having to: Engage 3rd party logistics providers and customs to co-ordinate and track deliveries Conduct end-to-end movement of deliveries across multiple parties, both internal and external parties Check that all stages of the delivery is executed are as per bookings Maintain communication with customers to ensure timely delivery updates are provided Be answerable to customer queries and complaints; if needed assist customers to troubleshoot and resolve issues Maintain strong product and service awareness Produce service reports; conduct data entry and analysis where needed Maintain a database of customer complaints and resolutions for learning and future reference At the onset, you may be culture-shocked working in AirAsia and with the Teleport team.
