Our school is originally based in Sydney, Australia, and was founded in 2013 as Australia's first and only Buddhist primary and high school. This year, work is already under-way to open an overseas branch in Siem Reap. We are looking to employ an experienced educator (local or expat) who is well-versed in English and school operations requirements, to lead the establishment of our school, working under our Sydney founding team. Our goal is to establish an international school following the NSW Australian curriculum, set with a school ethos and environment that is based on the Buddhist philosophy. Our high-excellence education is based on modern Western methods incorporating the best pedagogies and technologies in educational best practice. Spiritually, we are Eastern-determined, with our school environment having a strong focus on the development of upright moral conduct, through a disciplined approach to speech, action, and thoughts.

The Principal has overall responsibility for the organisational, operational and academic functions of the school, in line with the strategies, visions, policies and procedures of the school based in Sydney. The Principal will work with the Sydney founding team to recruit, develop and retain outstanding faculty and staff. The Principal will work with the Sydney leaders to formulate the school’s strategic plans and programs and will direct the day-to-day operation of its Australian based curriculum programs. The applicant is expected to meet the following criteria: - Advanced organisation and management skills - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English - Excellent execution and delegation skills, including follow up and follow through, and able to meet goals and deadlines with high degree of professionalism and efficiency - Has a strong passion for international education - Expert use of the Windows OS environment, and Microsoft Office programs
