•Prepare and implement Site Safety and Health Plan throughout the organization •Assess hazardous and unsafe situations and develop measures to correct them •Work closely with Management team and staff to implement safety procedures, while respecting or improving current work processes •Among site and carpentry teams, develop, implement and oversee proactive Safety Committees •Ensure that each incident is properly handled, corrected, and recorded through an Incident Action Plan. •Prepare a system to report and correct unsafe acts or conditions through site supervisors and HR (although the Safety Officer may exercise authority to prevent or stop unsafe acts when immediate action is required). •Develop and implement safety & environmental training programs for each BU of the organization, including prevention programs, inspections, audits and corrective activities •Set up an Occupational Health and Safety Management team to develop, measure and report on metrics related to the safety performance within the organization
