Jobs Description

• Assist in all new employee orientations as an integral member of the HR. • Research, prepare and present presentations to the Management Team as part of the Strategic Plan with the HR team. • Maintain all confidential Human Resources files; files and tracks employee contracts, evaluations, trainings, etc. • Ability to help develop, implement, support, and review all HR department initiatives, policies, procedures, and systems • Leadership and instructional aptitudes needed to provide training and oversight on policies and procedures. • Strategic development skills to develop and evaluate onboarding plans • Perceptive nature, careful monitoring of working conditions to ensure legal compliance • Update and maintain human resource handbooks, policy, rule and regulation • Collaborate and work as a team member by providing regular program feedback, brainstorming ideas, solving problems, taking initiative, while keeping focus on how to move forward established HR goals and initiatives. • Developing procedures and forms whereby school-based personnel can add to, delete from, or update personnel master files. • Coordinating work flow and procedures between Human Resources, Payroll, Employee Benefits, and Budget/Bookkeeping. • Acting as liaison between Human Resources and other offices such as Finance, Employee Relations, and Information Services. • Supervising, developing, and evaluating subordinates. • Preparing confidential reports for negotiations. • Maintaining contracts for employment for all employees to comply with KWIS

Jobs Requirement

• BA in business administration or relevant field • Successful work experience as a Human Resources Specialist, officer, administrator or other HR position • Strong working knowledge of HR functions and procedures (e.g. pay and benefits, recruitment, training, and development) • Commitment to staying current on the understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and knowledge of HRMS is a plus • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills • Aptitude for critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision making
