Jobs Description

* Responsibilities: As Purchasing Officer, your role is to control the procurement of all materials and equipment used in projects or for the organization. • Prepare purchase orders and send copies to suppliers • Compare and select the most suitable suppliers with best value based on criteria • Answer suppliers’ inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations • Track the status of requisition, orders, and contract • Ensure promptness and quality of the ordered products and services • Ensure the ordering process is conducted properly based on rules and regulations • Verify the amount and cost of orders • Review and evaluate the performance of the suppliers • Submit final invoices to the Finance and Accountants Department • Source materials, furniture and equipment based on project needs • Extend, compile and update vendors database, including latest pricing and promotions • Negotiate with vendors based on previous year purchase volume • Anticipate, simulate and forecast purchasing of recurrent materials such as cement, bricks, sand, tools, etc. • Follow-up on overseas enquiries, orders and deliveries • Coordinate material delivery at warehouse and at site • Validate invoice from suppliers based on site operations and coordinate with accounting team for payment • Always implement and follow the internal purchasing procedure, including with other BU’s or third party • Perform other duties as assigned

Jobs Requirement

* Job Requirements: • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Purchasing, or Accounting • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in a construction or architecture company • Detail orientated, good time management • Strong judgment and decision making • Persistence, flexibility and adaptability • Able to conduct negotiations and to build relationships with vendors. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office • Ability to work with others in a mature, professional and collaborative way. * How to apply: Interested applicants should submit CV with recent photo, portfolio and cover letter, stating the position applied to info@tdb-projects.com Only shortlist candidates will be contacted for interview.
