- BUDGET : USD4000-USD4500 - WORK LOCATION VKirirom Resort (Kirirom National Park) - Hours: 48 hours per week Position summary The Director has the executive authority to oversee all aspects of KIT’s operation, including planning, implementing and evaluating the university’s resources, programs and services in line with its vision, missions and strategies. The Director is the academic leader who is ultimately responsible for ensuring student success and the completion of their goals. The Director also represents the university to outside communities, including the business and industry leaders, higher education institutions, students and their families and the government agencies. This is a full-time position which is based in Kirirom National Park, Kampong Speu Province. Priority will be given to qualified Cambodian candidate. Main responsibilities - Development and execution of KIT’s long-term strategic plan, educational programs, policies and procedures - Development of a competent academic and administrative organization and staff to ensure effective management of KIT - Faculty appointments, performance, tenure and promotion and contract termination - Support for staff and faculty development - Development and implementation of plans for increasing student access, enrollment, retention, graduation and career-readiness. - Promotion of KIT’s partnerships with schools, universities, government institutes and the business sector - Development of an effective external relations and resources mobilization, including fundraising program for KIT - Other duties as assigned by KIT’s Governing Board

Minimum qualifications - Doctorate degree from an internationally accredited institution - A minimum of five years of working (including senior administrative and managerial) experience in higher education or research institution - Deep understanding of current issues in higher education, including governance and management, student affairs, digital education, curriculum development, faculty development, internationalization and industry-university partnerships - Record of success in fundraising and resources mobilization at national, regional and international levels - Ability to work well in a multi-cultural environment with students, faculty and staff - Established experience working with government officials at all levels, the business and industry sector, higher education institutions and development partners - Strategic and financial management skills relative to academic program planning, budgeting, fiscal planning, talent management, and increasing brand recognition - Deep knowledge and understanding of local culture with international and global mindset and experience
