Kulen Outreach is a non-profit organization providing quality education to children from the rural areas around the Siem Reap province. It is our primary goal to empower these children with an adequate education. In addition to the Cambodian curriculum, we provide advanced English courses, an IT Literacy program, an Arts & Culture curriculum and a Career Development program. Kulen Outreach is looking for a Khmer national for the position of an English teacher to join our staff at our school in Siem Reap. Responsibilities will include preparing and implementing an English language teaching program, helping supervise the educational needs of the students, and oversee the general operations of the school.

Responsibilities will include preparing and implementing an English language teaching program, helping supervise the educational needs of the students, and oversee the general operations of the school. Location: Siem Reap School/Campus located in the Sala Kamreuk Sangkat area. Schedule: Full time, 5 days a week. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Present lessons in a comprehensive manner and use visual/audio technology to facilitate learning. • Provide individualized instruction to each student by promoting interactive learning. • Create and distribute educational content (notes, summaries, assignments, etc.). • Assess and record student’s progress and provide grades and feedback. • Maintain a tidy and orderly classroom and school. • Coordinate volunteer responsibilities who will help assist at the school from time-to-time. REQUIREMENTS: • The ideal candidate, although not required, should have a degree in teaching or English. • Knowledge of the English language is required. • Past teaching experience is preferred. • Thorough knowledge of teaching best practices and legal educational guidelines with a willingness to follow the school’s policies and procedures. • Excellent communicability and interpersonal skills. • Well-organized and committed. • Creative and energetic. • Strong moral values and discipline.
