 Measure and record precise distances and angles, including boundary points, topographical features and other designated markers  Use a variety of modern surveying equipment, manual recording, computer-aided drafting programs and databases to collect and record data according to project requirements  Research historical maps, land records, previous survey results and land title information as needed to compare and verify current measurements  Create reports and maps containing information from field measurements, boundary markers and topographical features  Prepare maps and computer renderings of property features, such as boundary lines, geological points of interest, existing structures, water features and utility lines  Follow accepted procedures to establish official land and water boundaries  Communicate with architects, engineers and construction personnel as needed to verify geological and property boundary data and contribute to building design as needed

 Bachelor’s degree in surveying, civil engineering or related field  5+ years’ experiences in site surveying and mapping  Good oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate logically and clearly  Proficient with AutoCAD, surveying software and Microsoft Office  Proficient in the use of surveying equipment such as theodolites, transits, levels and global positioning systems  Ability to interpret drawings and topographical maps  Precise and detail oriented with a commitment to accuracy  Ability to work outdoors  English language skills in both written and spoken English
