- Assists animal treatment and surgery in the clinic. - Assists in the processing of animal in the quarantine and in outside rooms during biannual and shipment selection activities. - Regularly updates animal health records in the clinic and quarantine building. - Ensures all the animals in the quarantine and animal clinic are provided with proper environmental enrichment materials. - Assists in ensuring proper cleaning and sanitation procedures in animal rooms. - Assists in the rearing of animals in the nursery rooms and the updating of records. - Performs regular grand rounds to monitor the health and wellness of the animals both in indoor and outside rooms. - Coordinates to laboratory to any request relative to animal testing activity. - Assists in making requests to the maintenance section of all repairs needed in animal rooms. - Reports to the management any important matters relative to animal health and husbandry. - Performs other tasks as maybe required by his superior.
