** ABOUT THE ROLE The Senior Internal Audit Officer will be mainly responsible to investigate all the reports, policies and procedure, which must be complied by the company. He/she will work directly with Internal Audit Manager and related department managers. - Participates in internal audits as assigned - Assists the Internal Audit team with data collection and preparation of risk profiling - Visits branches, sub-branches, and points of sale assigned by Internal Audit Manager - Oversees risk management, controls management, operations’ effectiveness, financial reliability, and compliance - Provides immediate recommendations on deficiencies and non-compliance with operational audits to Internal Audit Manager - Prepares draft audit findings and discuss those deficiencies and findings with the Team Leader with a goal of providing a final report to the Internal Audit Manager; recommendations shall be made for appropriate improvement for internal controls and rectify weaknesses highlighted - Performs investigation when there is misconduct or a breach of policies and procedures or when fraud is committed by staff and report results of investigation - Performs other related duties as assigned.

• University degree in Banking and Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics • At least 2-year experience in auditing or financial management • Work experience as auditor in the leasing company/ microfinance/ banking/ audit sector is an advantage • High degree of aptitude regarding attention to detail and excellent analytical skills • Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, accounting and auditing principles/standards; • Computer skills including MS Office, and accounting software • Good understanding of the national legal framework, including taxation and legal compliances • Good commend in English language (Speaking, Writing and Listening) • Have good interpersonal skills to deal with all level of people • Be patient, work hard, honest, and high responsibility • Be willing to travel to fields, branches, sub-branches, and points of sale when required.
