- Responsible to check the quantities of all required materials and scope of works of the project - Produce effective product designs by using their understanding of engineering and manufacturing techniques - Add structural details to architectural plans from their knowledge of building techniques - Interpret architectural and engineering drawings - Design and prepare plans for using Computer-Aided design and drafting (CADD) software - Work from rough sketches and specifications created by engineers and architects - Help design products with engineering and manufacturing techniques - Prepare multiple versions of designs for review by engineers and architects - Specify dimensions, material, and procedures for new building projects or products

- Education: Bachelor Degree in Civil or Structural engineering - Knowledge & Experience in QS is a plus
