Jobs Description

• Responsible for the overall management of the operations of the hotel. • Fully responsible for all aspects of all departments. • Support and work with all Head of Departments in all aspects of running of the hotel. • Ensure SOP implementation in all departments and check the same during routine operational checks. Consultant /or GM guidance to be taken wherever required. • Inspecting all departments for SOP implementation. • Randomly inspecting the stores (F & B / Kitchen) to check the stock in hand (quality, par stock levels, expiry etc) with the F & B Manager & Chef. • Inspecting all departments for SOP implementation. • Inspecting all departments with their respective Manager's for cleanliness, ambience, service readiness, staff grooming & hospitality culture. • Meet all Head of Department to review & train the staff to upkeep the human capital. • Providing timely and constructive feedback to all direct reports as and when required either formally or informally. • Monitor and maintain operation & overhead cost in order to maintain maximum revenue to the hotel. • Be on available on call 24 hours a day to resolve any urgent problems on emergencies. • Control the hygiene and cleanliness of his/ her work area, equipment and material. • Be responsible for the organization of his/her departments for controlling the reports and other documents from these departments. • Make reports to the General Manager. • Conduct regular operations team meeting with all the HODs weekly if needed to discuss routine operational matters, sales targets, feedbacks and action taken for service recovery, and also staff issues. • Attend all training programs designed for him/her and all other managers. • Control and apply strictly the safety and hence policy, regulation and procedures of the hotel. • Participate in daily meeting with all managers. • Replace the General Manager in case he absences from work. • Check the department concerned to meet the goal. • Transmit his/her knowledge to the HODs to improve their performance and coach them if necessary • Dealing with Suppliers / Vendors for quality products involving Purchase Order. • Prepare all the necessary documents for the day to day operation and assign the tasks to his/ her subordinates. • Handle and solve special requests and complaints. • Follow up the city ledger with chief accountant. • Supervise the works of his/her subordinates. • Control the reports made by the night auditor. • Control the average room and enhance the sales strategy. • Analyze his/her results and give idea to increase profitability. • Delegate tasks to his/her subordinates to prepare them for bigger responsibility. • Control and ensure the follow up of the reservation system. • Maintain good relationship with all the department of the hotel. • Coordinate with F&B department for group’s requisition. • Develop training and development plans for his/ her staff and evaluate these plans. • Maintain good relationship with all OTAs and TAs. • Perform other duties assigned by Superior.

Jobs Requirement

• Cambodian Male/or Female • 30 years old and above. • 3-5 years ‘experience as Assistant/Operations Manager in Luxury hotel. • Degree in general management or tourism and hospitality management. • Strong in leadership and motivation, communication and interpersonal skills. • Strong in coordinating and coaching team members. • Demonstrable aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving. • Fluency in English; more knowledge of other languages is a plus. • Computer Literacy (Ms. Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet and Email). • Excellent customer service skills as well as a business mindset. • Reliable with ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
