- Promoting equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organization; - Recruiting staff - this includes developing job descriptions and person specifications, preparing job adverts, checking application forms, short listing, interviewing and selecting candidates; - Developing and implementing policies on issues such as working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures and absence management; - Advising on pay and other remuneration issues, including promotion and benefits; - Administering payroll and maintaining employee records; - Developing with line managers HR planning strategies which consider immediate and long-term staff requirements; - Planning, and sometimes delivering, training, including inductions for new staff; - Other tasks assigned by supervision.

- Preferred 1-2 years of Human Resources experience - Preferred educational background in Human Resources, Business Administration - Experience in research, Microsoft Office applications and Computer Literate (Ms. Word, Ms. Excel, Internet & E-mail) - Pays attention to detail, accurate, excellent interpersonal skills both oral and written - Must be honest, patient, hard-working and have a positive team spirit - Willing and eager to learn
