- Identify areas within the factory of whole buildings or facilities that are to be cleaned, devise cleaning schedules and determine the appropriate cleaning method(s) to be used for each area. - Develop a cleaning procedure for each area and document this procedure. - Train cleaning staff in the appropriate cleaning method for each area and instruct them on the cleaning procedures - Supervise staff and their works. Ensure that cleaning is carried out to the required standard. - Take corrective action where necessary to ensure standards are maintained and provide on the job training for cleaners as necessary. - Develop cleaning rosters, assigning staff to clean each area of the factory and defining the frequency cleaning of each of the areas. Manage staff absences to ensure that all cleaning duties are complete.
