Jobs Description

** Roles and Responsibilities: The main roles of the position will be responsible for meeting work and cost standards; providing work direction to staff. ** Technical: - Accomplishes work requirements by orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, and coaching employees. - Meets work standards by following production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving operational problems; identifying work process improvements - Cooperate, and liaise with other construction professionals such as architects, engineers, buyers, estimators and surveyors before construction work starts - Keep the project and all related processes running smoothly - Meets cost standards by monitoring expenses; implementing cost-saving actions. - Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications. - Coordinate activities, resources, equipment and information and bring to the attention of the project manager any coordination issues which they cannot resolve - Initial project schedule, making certain that all scheduling conflicts are resolved with routine updates with the project manager’s final approval. - Coordinate safety inspections of the site when work is underway and ensuring regulations relating to health, safety and the environment (HSE) are adhered to ** Management: - Coordinate cross cultural management including HR issues - Create team based on competencies and skills - Communicate with a range of people including the client, subcontractors, suppliers, the public and the workforce - To follow / supervise schedule - Participate in and provide advice to clients/technical teams - Manage and ensure accountability for site staff - Provide direction and active participation on preparation of new tendering/project ** Administration: - Work collaboratively with HR/Admin, Accounting & Finance, Procurement, BDD, Site Team - Work collaboratively with stakeholders to coordinate design review ** Perform other duties as assigned

Jobs Requirement

- A Bachelor Degree in project management, engineering, construction management, building science, or other closely related field, Master degree is a plus - 6 years of progressively responsible experience, including 3 years in a supervisory capacity in construction project. - Knowledge of structural fitting and ground anchoring - Knowledge of post tensioning work in PT Buildings - Must have strong experience with Microsoft Excel, Access and Word, internet and email - Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required. - Good sound of verbal and written in English and Khmer - Being able to work in team, hard-working, Planning and coordination, Effective quality checking and initiative skill - Excellent time management to finish the work scheduled on time - Being honest, high commitment, good attitude, open-minded and work ethic. - Strong interpersonal, communication, supervisory, Negotiation (mastered the art of persuasion), leadership, problem solving skills, Ability Building Skill of team, Being goal oriented manner, Expertise on scheduling - skills of adaptability, versatility with administrative and facilitation skills to keep the project focused on its objectives - Skill involved in the Quality, safety and Requirements Management Areas - Being able to travel to sites/provinces and mobilize the workplace.
