OBJECTIVE: - Ensure company sales target is met. Analyse and evaluate monthly/annual sales results, prepare monthly/ annual sales plan and forecast reports. - Lead and manage Business Development, Sales/ Key Account Manager and Marketing & Sales Executives to work towards maximization of the market share of company products. Widen the brands portfolio and initiate fresh ideas and penetrate into new markets to keep ahead of the ever-changing F&B industry. - Drive sales forecasting accuracy project for sales department by consolidating wholesaler’s sales forecasts as well as sales projections for the entire sales team. - New Business Development - Responsible for increasing product portfolio and market share. - Strategize, develop and implement new business development strategies for meeting revenue goals. - Identify new sales avenues and exploring new markets and distribution channels, which include developing strategic plans on new market entry tactics. - Keep abreast with the latest market information and update the Managing Director on new business avenues. - Conduct business updates & review with the team to align business strategies. - Conduct sales presentations, negotiate and create attractive sales proposals to secure outlet contracts. Sales Team Management - Organize and lead Business Development, Sales/ Key Account Manager and Marketing & Sales Executives to ensure achievement of sales target. - Enforce total discipline in the sales team and create synergy in the team to perform to the fullest for the company. - Specify and direct the job scope for the sales staff. - Set sales targets and other sales objectives for sales staff. - Reflect overall leadership qualities, to monitor & motivate sales staff. - Ensure all sales staff possess the correct product knowledge & the capability to perform well within their job scope. - Conduct weekly sales update meetings with sales team to get sales feedback & to report on any market intelligence. - Ensure timely sales reports from each sales staff on a regular basis. - Plan, set and monitor individual outlets’ sales and implement off-trade promotional activities with the marketing team to achieve sales and profit targets. Key Outlets Management - In charge and manage the entire local off-trade outlets. - Plan and organize outlet segmentations to facilitate distribution of outlets among the sales staff - Delegate and distribute all outlets between the sales team and to ensure they make timely sales visits to these outlets on a regular basis. - Establish good working relationships with current major customers and strategic partners to ensure continued sales support from these customers. Sales Forecast Accuracy Project - Consolidate wholesalers’ sales forecasts. - Monthly forecasting of sales volume by brands for the sales department. - Ensure timely submission of all updated sales forecasts for off trade. - Monthly review of the key SKUs that impact the business and the new or erratic SKUs. - Any change to the frozen forecast zone should be discussed with supply chain department. - Ensure sufficient stocks for all planned customers. - To promote the company's new & existing products and its brands in gastronomical segment, i.e. hotels, restaurants, clubs, bars, pubs, country club and associations, modern & traditional off-trade; - Uphold the company's professional image, and continually delight our clients with superior service, expertise and professionalism. - To liaise and assist the Sales & Marketing Director/Manager in organised with customers; - To achieve objectives and targets, related to marketing, events promotional and sales activities, set by the management. - To attain to small claims made against clients or customers who has their payments, due on their outstanding invoices. - To suitably entertain good customers, when necessary. - To support the accounts department in account receivables duties; - General Administrative duties, such as filling daily reports; orders; and any other responsibilities assigned by the management
