Driver Trainer 250-400$ - Responsible for assisting drivers with driver behavior management/ driver management. - Assists in planning and scheduling entry level and the annual in-service training programs for authorized drivers. - Assists in interviews and processing of applicants, with question and endorsements needed prior to training. - Implements, conducts and/or oversees elements of authorized training program. - Assesses trainees’ abilities to meet acceptable standards and makes recommendations for further training or discontinuing training. - Performs probationary observations of drivers, including observation reports. - Keeps informed of current issues regarding transportation operations. - Performs observations, “Commentary driver/ In-cab assessment” and assists drivers with concerns and makes suggestions for drivers. - Assists in implementing retraining for drivers. - Be willing to substitute drive as needed. - May attend training sessions, meetings, and workshops as required. - Assist in organizing and implement safety training at mandatory safety meetings. - Assist in yearly “In-Cabin Test” of drivers. - Performs other duties as assigned (Spot Check, Truck inspection, Visual check …).
