• Check if items have been received on the expected dates. • Verify if goods received are in accordance with standard specifications. • Check quantity against invoice. • Prepare and attach tags to all perishable items such as meat and seafood’s stating the following information: o Name of item o Name of supplier o Unit cost o Date of delivery • Check unit price against quotation on purchases order. o Open boxes for inspection o Weigh meat pieces on scale. o Tag individual meat pieces and seafood o Stamp and sign invoices o Send food directly to kitchens • Coordinate with purchasing storekeeper, cost controller. • Schedule supplies delivery times. • Contrary purchasing recording wrong deliveries. • Prepare receiving record and compile daily receiving report. • Performs related duties, as assigned or as necessary.
