Jobs Description

1. Department: Human Resources 2. Reports To: Expat Services Manager (ESM) 3. Job Purpose: - Process applications from teachers applying locally or from abroad, from initial contacts through placement within a training centre. - Assist the ESM to develop and implement marketing and forecasting plans for recruitment and retention projects for teachers. - The proportion The amount of time spent on each of these areas will vary over the course of the contract and will be determined by the ESM - Process work permit and plan for work permit changes - Process the visas and update the ESM on visa changes as needed. 4. Responsibilities: a) Teacher Recruitment • Recruitment Inbox / Processing applications + Sort new emails, review CVs, reject unqualified applicants, short list applicants for interview + Reply to queries and give information about teaching at ILA and living in Vietnam + Process applications + Review New Teacher Requirements Form for teacher needs + Promote ILA to CELTA candidates; attend welcome dinner, visit candidates twice per course; field queries • Selection process + Shortlist applicants from internal/ external sources + Arrange and conduct interviews + Write Interview Summaries + Check references + Offer employment to qualified candidates + Answer follow up questions + Follow up with teacher arrivals • Other Recruitment Tasks + Contribute ideas for improving recruitment + Make recommendations to academic managers + Track applicants / applications and reporting + Other recruitment activities as requested b) Miscellaneous • All other reasonable duties given by the ESM

Jobs Requirement

1. Qualifications: - Bachelor Degree from an accredited University - Already at the same position with at least 2-4 years experience in recruitment and selection management - Multinational organization experience preferred (in the education, consumer or financial industry is a plus) - Proficient in recruitment best practice, Vietnamese labour code - Knowledge about visa and work permit process for expat 2. Skills: - Excellent communication skill with the ability to liaise and negotiate in a professional manner - High flexibility and ability to manage recruitment function - Strong English skills and cross cultural understanding - Good presentation and persuasive skill 3.
