Jobs Description

Oversee and execute the end-to-end integration of substation SCADA systems with the control center SCADA using IEC 60870-5-104.
Configure, test, and troubleshoot IEC 60870-5-104 client/server communications, ensuring data integrity and real-time performance.
Collaborate with network teams to design and implement IP-MPLS network configurations optimized for SCADA communication, including QoS and security measures.
Develop and maintain technical specifications, architectural diagrams, and documentation for integrated SCADA systems.
Provide expert-level support for SCADA communication issues, diagnosing root causes and implementing effective solutions.
Lead and manage automation projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Ensure all integration activities comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
Guide and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
Interface with equipment vendors and service providers to ensure interoperability and optimal system performance.

Jobs Requirement

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Geoinformatics, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in transmission automation, substation SCADA, and control center integration.
In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with IEC 60870-5-104/101 protocol implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Extensive experience with various substation SCADA platforms (e.g., RTUs, PLCs, HMI systems) and control center SCADA/EMS systems.
Strong understanding of IP-based networks, TCP/IP, routing protocols, and specifically IP-MPLS network architectures.
Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for industrial control systems (ICS) and SCADA environments.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex technical issues.
Strong knowledge with protocols IEC 60870-5-104, IEC 61850, DNP3, Modbus.
Experience with major SCADA vendors and their respective hardware/software solutions.
Understanding of IP-MPLS, Routers, Switches, Firewalls, VPNs.
