We are seeking a skilled Test Engineer to join our team in Cambodia to ensure the quality and reliability of embedded systems for automotive devices. This full-time role requires expertise in both manual and automated testing, with a strong focus on identifying edge cases and ensuring product robustness. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automotive systems testing, a solid understanding of embedded firmware, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manual Testing

- Execute manual tests to uncover edge cases and validate system behavior under various conditions.

- Conduct real-world scenario testing, including environmental, stress, and boundary testing.

- Perform negative testing to evaluate system behavior under unexpected inputs.

2. Firmware and Hardware Validation

- Test automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, UART, SPI, and I2C.

- Debug firmware and hardware using tools like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and CAN analyzers.

- Validate firmware performance and compliance with technical and safety standards.

3. Defect Analysis and Troubleshooting

- Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools.

- Work closely with hardware and firmware teams to analyze and resolve issues.

- Perform root cause analysis for complex issues and

verify implemented fixes.

4. Documentation and Reporting

- Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and procedures for manual and automated testing.

- Prepare detailed test reports, including findings from edge-case scenarios.

- Ensure documentation aligns with regulatory and compliance requirements.

5. Collaboration and Process Improvement

- Collaborate with firmware developers, hardware engineers, and product managers to ensure product quality.

- Provide feedback for system design improvements to enhance testability and reliability.

- Stay updated with the latest automotive standards, tools, and testing techniques.

* Preferred Skills (Optional):

• Knowledge of hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing or simulation tools.
