-Prepare and review detailed cost estimates for MEP components of construction

projects.

-Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare Bills of Quantities (BoQs) for MEP works.

-Assess and validate contractors' and suppliers' quotations and claims.

-Monitor and control costs throughout the project lifecycle, including value

engineering and cost reporting.

-Prepare and manage contract documents, including tender documents,

contracts, and payment certificates.

-Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure

accurate and timely completion of all MEP cost control processes.

-Conduct site visits to assess progress, quality of work, and adherence to

specifications and standards.

-Assist in risk analysis and provide recommendations to mitigate cost risks.

-Negotiate and manage variations, amendments, and claims related to MEP

aspects of projects.

-Prepare final accounts and ensure all financial aspects of the project are in line

with budgetary expectations.

-Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a

related field.

-Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor focusing on MEP works in the construction industry.

-In-depth knowledge of MEP systems and construction methodologies.

-Familiarity with cost estimating software and tools, such as AutoCAD, MS Excel,

and relevant QS software.

-Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail.

-Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

-Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

-Knowledge of local construction regulations and standards are an advantage.
