1. Drafting and Design:

• Develop detailed shop drawings for interior fit-out elements including partitions, ceilings, flooring, joinery, cabinetry, fixtures, and finishes based on architectural plans, specifications, and client requirements.

• Ensure drawings accurately reflect design intent, dimensions, materials, finishes, and any other project-specific details.

2. Coordination and Collaboration:

• Collaborate closely with architects, interior designers, project managers, and subcontractors to understand project objectives, design requirements, and technical specifications.

• Coordinate with structural engineers, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) consultants, and other trades to integrate their requirements into

the shop drawings.

3. Quality Assurance and Compliance:

• Conduct thorough reviews and quality checks of shop drawings to ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, industry standards, and project specifications.

• Address any discrepancies or technical issues identified during the review process and propose appropriate solutions.

4. Technical Expertise:

• Proficiently use CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch UP or similar tools to create accurate and detailed drawings.

• Apply knowledge of construction methods, materials, building systems, and interior fit-out techniques.

5. Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain organized documentation of drawings, revisions, and project communications.

• Prepare and submit drawing packages for client approval, construction procurement, and installation.

6. Communication and Coordination:

• Communicate effectively with internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure alignment on project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.

• Attend project meetings, provide technical support, and contribute insights to resolve design and construction challenges.

• Education: Diploma or degree in Architecture, Engineering, Interior Design, Drafting, or a related field.

• Experience: Proven experience as a draftsman or drafter in construction, interior fit-out, or architectural industries, with a strong portfolio of shop drawing projects.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) and familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) software is

advantageous.

• Knowledge: Understanding of construction techniques, interior fit-out processes, materials, finishes, and building systems.

• Attention to Detail: Ability to meticulously review and revise drawings for accuracy, clarity, and compliance with specifications.

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and

stakeholders.

• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical issues during the drafting and construction

phases.

• Organizational Skills: Capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Able to speak English: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
