Jobs Description

- Attend to guests courteously and deal promptly with their requests and queries. Have detailed

information about the hotel and city.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Welcoming guests during check-in and giving a found farewell to guest while checkout.

• Overseeing VIP guests, arrivals and departures.

• Coordinating and multi-tasking job duties in a busy environment.

• Be familiar with hotel facilities and functions as well as major city attractions and events; provide guests with accurate information as requested.

• Take ownership of problems, handle guest complaints promptly according to established procedures and then report to the HOD for further follow up when necessary.

• Handling guest complaints and concerns in an efficient and timely manner without bias or prejudice.

• Detailed information regarding arrivals and room requirements.

• Be familiar with all room types and rates in the hotel and their availability status; up-sell whenever possible.

• Maintain up-to date information on room rates, current promotions, offers and packages.

• Obtain guests feedback on their stay in the hotel. If complaints, take immediate actions to

remedy solutions.

• Develop a professional and courteous working relationship with colleagues within the Front Office and maintain an effective flow of communication with all hotel personnel.

• Providing excellent customer service as per hotel standards.

• Coordinate with housekeeping for clearing of rooms.

• Give proper and complete handover to the next shift.

• Collect guest feedback during guest departure along with his likes and dislikes.

• Ensure that all check-ins and check-outs are handled smoothly without unnecessary delay or discomfort to any guest.

• Maintain a well-groomed appearance and a tidy work area.

• Must be guest service focused and a team player.

• Perform all other duties assigned by HOD.
