• Verification of the daily revenue with relevant supporting contracts and documents

• Ensure the completeness and accuracy of the Cashier Reports.

• Check and verify all bank deposit slips.

• Review and verify all outlet checks related to duty meal, entertainment and complimentary items.

• Monitors and investigates any cashier shortages / overages

• Check and verify rebates/allowances, miscellaneous charges, pay-outs, minibar gain / loss and telephone miscellaneous.

• Prepare daily flash report for morning’s Operation Meeting

• Prepare Revenue Journals for monthly General Ledger posting.

• Check and verify VAT tax on the daily transactions.

• Conduct surprise cash count on the operating float of the property including that held by the General Cashier.

• Ensures that programs involving coupons, certificates, and vouchers are adequately controlled and safeguards are in place

• Provides training to Front Office and F&B associates on the cashiering procedures, handling of cash and credit card settlements.

• Degree in accountancy or equivalent professional qualification

• At least two years experience in similar position in the hospitality industry

• Possesses good analytical skills

• Knowledge in hotel’s systems such as Hotel Management System & Point of Sales and financial reporting system
