• Ensure compliance with the laws, regulations, and policies & procedure of the bank;

• Responsible as the main regulation liaison officer for the banking entity in responding to regulatory inquiries and preparation for regulatory examinations;

• Active in development and continuous improvement of an enterprise-wide framework for identifying, assessing, controlling, measuring, monitoring, testing, and reporting compliance risks, and providing compliance training;

• Identify interpret, and analyze current and emerging development for new laws, regulations and determine their impact and requirements to the bank;

• Work in consultative manner with business, operational or functional stakeholders of the bank to advice on implications of relevant laws, regulations and regulatory guideline into policies and procedure;

• Conduct compliance checks on Head Office departments and branch to assess their compliance level against the policies, guidelines and regulations of the bank and NBC

• Detect and escalate areas of non-compliance for early alert and timely corrective actions plans;

• Assist business units in creating and instilling compliance awareness in operations;

• Provide regular and concise reporting on compliance related update;

• Other duties as assign by the Management.

• Academic Qualifications: Degree or relevant professional qualifications in Business, Accounting, Economics, Finance or Management; or with relevant working experience in this area;

• At least 2–3-year experiences in banking or related filed;

• Sound knowledge and experience in banking operations within financial institution especially in the Compliance/Risk management departments;

• Ability to multi-task and strong organization skills is essential;

• Good communication skills and a strong team player;

• Good in verbal and written English.
