1. Clean facilities by sweeping, dusting etc.
2. Perform maintenance and light repairs.
3. Paint and fill gaps or crevices (on walls, sidewalks etc.)
4. Repair equipment or appliances.
5. Maintain sprinkler system and trash receptacles on the premises.
6. Test performance of in-unit appliances, such as refrigerators, microwaves, stoves, ovens and coffee makers.
7. Respond to requests from property managers and maintenance services as needed.
8. Ability to deal with other contractors or maintenance workers.
9. Physically strong - capable of working with machinery or moving heavy equipment.
10. Being resourceful with self-motivated and flexible.

Education / Experience

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

• Electric school or General Education Development (GED) preferred.

• At least a year experiences in hotel or apartment or condominium.

• Proven experience as handyman.

• Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing or HVAC systems.

• Experience with plumbing and electrical systems required.

• Able to work as part of a team.

• Ability to communicate well with property management and maintenance staff.

• Excellent facility with common hand and power tools.
