Job Description • Create building designs and highly detailed drawings both by hand and by using specialist computer-aided design applications • Formulate design requirements to ensure it aligns with owner's requirement. • Plan and coordinate design development, project schedules and budgets and ensure that work is progressing as planned. • Liaise with construction professionals about the feasibility of potential projects • Work closely with a team of other professionals such as building service engineers, construction managers, quantity surveyors and architectural technologists • Writing and presenting reports, proposals, applications and contracts • Adapting plans according to circumstances and resolving any problems that may arise during construction • Traveling regularly to building sites, to check the progress of projects.
