 Source and negotiate with suppliers on product range, pricing, terms and conditions, advertisement and promotional activities.  Identify and qualify potential new suppliers/vendors and make good rapport with them in order to get the best price and service.  Negotiate of quotation and payment term with suppliers.  Monitor the performance of supplier.  Prepare and generate purchase order (PO), forwarding orders to suppliers and follow up to ensure on-time delivery of goods.  Track orders, verifies invoice of items by comparing items received to items ordered, resolve shipments in error with suppliers.  Ensure purchased goods are conform to required specifications/requirements.  To maintain a proper record of purchases for all documents so as to enable easy access for future reference and proper storage: items bought, costs, deliveries, product performance, inventories, quotations, suppliers’ info.  Perform ad-hoc duties from time to time.

Education:  Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.  At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.  Computer literate  Strong analytical, sourcing, good communication and negotiation skills.  Preferably specializing in Purchasing with aggressive &proactive; attitude.  Accountable, honest and dynamic personality.  Able to work independently and meet deadlines.  Meticulous and have close attention to details.  Good interpersonal skills and time management.
