· Monitor and supervise the work of all Dog Handlers. · Ensure that all dog handlers carry out their duties in accordance with the relevant standing operating procedures. · Provide basic training to all dog handler and dogs. · Maintain a daily checklist on all dog condition. · Maintain up-to-date record and monitor the vaccination date for all dogs. · Maintain a hygiene environment within the dog kennel. · Ensure that all doors of the kennel are securely closed at all times. · Ensure that an adequate supply of food and necessities. · Ensure all dog food and necessities are store in the proper storage room. · Check to ensure that all lights, locks, fans, other fittings and fixtures and the drainage system within the dog kennel are in good order and are operational at all times. · Monitor and report on all health & safety aspects of the dog kennel area ensuring that a safe and comfortable working environment (consistent with the requirements for security) is maintained. · Attend the monthly dog handler meeting. · Carry out any other instruction and duties that may be required from time to time by the Guarding Manager.
