Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing and controlling market claim investigations with suppliers, analyzing root causes, particularly in components like motors, compressors, and PCBs, and providing feedback to the Research and Development (R&D) team.
• Developing inspection methods for PCB assembly and motor components used in air conditioners.
• Evaluating the critical aspects of PCB and motor components during the development phase.
• Coaching and mentoring subordinates, including engineers and technicians.
• Executing tasks assigned by the QC Manager or management.
• Assessing product quality and identifying potential risks during the development stage, promptly requesting improvements from the R&D department when necessary.
• Exploring enhancements for the existing Design Review system, proposing creative ideas to strengthen the development system, and engaging in discussions with the R&D department.
• Reviewing design and testing standards and, if necessary, requesting revisions from the R&D department.
• Achieving the required KPI targets related to the QC new development quality group.

Job Specifications/Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, with a major in Electronics, Electrical, or related fields.
• 7 years of experience in a Quality Control role in the HVAC/Air Conditioning or Electronics industries.
• Strong leadership and teamwork skills coupled with a commitment to delivering results.
• Experience in investigating customer claims, particularly in the field of PCBs, motors, and compressors.
• A good understanding of supplier audits and market claims, which is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Quality Control and knowledge of air conditioning systems, which is also advantageous.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong computer skills.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
