• Ensure equipment are organized accordingly before any production work begins • Responsible for machine testing to ensure good production condition • Ensure high level of hygiene of the working environment • Ensure that machines are calibrated and recalibrated before and after production procedures • Ensure good quality work and good quality of product as per standard • Ensure timely preparation and availability of all production materials to avoid shortage during production • Responsible in keeping regular and proper record on production activities, progress, inconvenient situations and issues • Following up on issues identified (if any) and liaising with the maintenance department for troubleshooting • Responsible in the running of the operating systems according to the instructions given • Follow the established rules, targets about the waste products and safety rules • Any duties given by supervisor and/or required by Management from time to time

Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Plant Engineering or any related field, and from foreign universities would be an advantage • Higher National Technical Education Certificate (HNTec) in Chemical, Mechanical or Plant Engineering • Minimum of at least 2-3 years’ experience in Oil and Fats Plant would be an advantage • Maintains the necessary activities in the framework of work safety and quality standards • Can adapt to shift hours and flexible working order • Able to operate effectively in a team • Work well under pressure and meet strict datelines • Able to work independently with minimum supervision • Self-motivated with good communication skills • Excellent analytical skills and details conscious • Good command of computer knowledge • Able to read and understand technical manuals • Having readiness and willingness to support other department(s) if needed as per company requirement.
