Responsibilities involve ensuring accuracy and timeliness of real-time corporate information. Duties include tracking and monitoring newswires, exchange filings, company news bulletins to track corporate developments such as releases of financial information and major corporate activities including: -Quarterly and annual releases of financial statements -Shifts in business operations and activities -Changes in officers, directors and major shareholders and related companies -Mergers and acquisitions and reverse takeovers -share consolidation and split

-University graduate in accounting, finance and business related discipline. -Graduates of other disciplines who have taken accounting and business courses may be considered. -Accounting background. No accounting work experience required but applicants should have fundamental understanding of accounting principles. -English proficiency. Strong English communication skills in both reading and writing. Should be able to summarize business news releases using clear and concise English sentences. Attentiveness to detail in -grammar, spelling and financial data entry is essential. -Computer Skills. Applicants should have multi-tasking skills with ability to engage in active web-based research, navigate across multiple application platforms without difficulty. -Must be willing to work in Eastwood area. Regular daytime shift with some overtime during peak reporting season.
