Job Responsibilities:
- Understand the over project master plan
- Provide information on project future progress to related people, including but not limited to, site manager, procurement officers, engineers, so that they can plan
their job to support site progress effectively
- Advise site manager, QS team and procurement team on what is ahead in terms of future stage of construction so as to allow them to prepare their short-term
and long term plans
- Assist the site manager in following up on the overall progress of the project
- Follow up and initiate/catalyze inter team meeting to tackle common tasks
- Check and report on progress of the project to the site manager and the whole project team
- Understand the overall project planning
- Follow and report on the stature of construction progress
- Make schedule for materials orders and pass on to purchase team
- Liaise on with the procurement team
- Support with ad-hoc work, emergency material supply issues and special requests from site team
- Understand the project master schedule in order to have a strong sense of construction progress and status of the project
- Follow up on the progress on site with the site engineers and site supervisors
- Update the site manager of the progress on site and its status as compared to the schedule
- Brief the site manager on what is ahead in terms of the project construction schedule
- Brief the cost and planning team on what is ahead in terms of the project construction schedule so that they could arrange for the correct number of
subcontractors and venders
- Brief the procurement team on what is ahead in terms of the project construction schedule so that they could arrange for the timely delivery of key construction
Job Requirements:
- Hold bachelor's degree in Architecture/Engineering or a related field
- Must have minimum 5 years of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing experience
- Demonstrate familiarity with requirements of drawings and specifications and with terms and conditions of Project Contracts, Subcontracts, and Purchase Orders
- Demonstrate strong ability to read drawings and specifications
- Have proven written and verbal communication abilities; proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office suite
- Have strong experience in the coordination of electrical, mechanical and special systems (preferred), and should be experienced with formal commissioning,
specifically relating to the mechanical and/or electrical systems (e.g. HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Low Voltage, Fire Sprinkler)
- Have ability to work as part of a team
