Job Responsibilities:
- Managing and motivating a team to increase sales and ensure work efficiency
- Implements and enforces established daily operation procedures to ensure store is clean,
adequately stocked, organized and well kept
- Ensures all merchandise is stocked and attractively displayed, priced correctly and clearly
tagged, and displayed in a safe manner.
- Assists in recruiting, recommend for hire and promotion, training, conducting performance
evaluation and tasks allocation
- Promote excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints in timely and
professional manner.
- Supervises and disciplines all employees to ensure company/store policies are being adhered
to.
- Monitors cash registers, and inventory shrinkage.
- Managing stock levels and making key decisions about stock control
- Conducts weekly/monthly meeting with team members to give updates on business
performance, new initiatives and other pertinent issues
- Maintaining awareness of market trends in the retail industry, understanding forthcoming
customer initiatives and monitoring local market
- Communicates and performs all price change request, mark downs/ups as established by the
management
- Attends training on inventory control software and POS system, and provides training to
subordinates to ensure they excel the software/system
- Monitor shelve-life of inventory and ensure goods are being sold in a FIFO method
- Monitors slow moving items and recommend promotion activities to clear stock.
- Prepare monthly sales report, monitor best/bad selling items and recommend necessary
actions
- Arranging roasters for all staff
- Ensures the mart is being kept neat and clean at all time
- Dealing with sales, as and when required
- Other tasks assigned by Management
Job Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experiences in mart management
- Highly experienced in general management
- Knowledge of supplies, purchasing and inventory control
- Positive Attitude and self-motivated personality
- Goal and achievement driven
- Clear ability to drive team members to reach their highest potential
- Experience in retail management preferred
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent in both written and spoken of Khmer and English Language, Chinese speaking is an
advantage
