Job Responsibilities:
1.Participate in company’s long-term strategy planning and portfolio plan formulation.
2.Support the development of the consumer & customer strategies
- Ensure development and refinement of forward-looking, actionable and meaningful customer and consumer segments.
- Recommend priority segments, objectives and approach.
- Generate innovative ideas on how to approach customer & consumer segments.
3.Drive the business operational planning process in the End Market by ensuring:
- Formulation and tactical execution of the Marketing plan is integrated across functions and aligned with the defined Marketing strategy.
- Validation of plan to ensure line of sight from consumer segment strategies through Brand and Trade activities.
- Development of a comprehensive, integrated and effective Cycle Grid (Cycle Plan).
- Development of accurate sale volume forecast.
- Information systems effectively support the planning process.
4.Drive the Business Alignment platform (BAM), to the efficiency and effectiveness
5.Provide high quality monthly information input to the area and region regarding Marketing business information and End Market planning information.
6.Use long-term macro-economic forecasts for the total tobacco market, short-term forecasts and competitive business scenarios as input to develop strategic corporate and marketing plans.
7.Deliver highest organizational capability in consumer, customer and market insights by:
- Ensuring guardianship and correct application of ORACLE methodologies within the End Market.
- Ensuring implementation of all marketing research & information common platforms and best practices.
- Manage Research Agency in ensuring Company obtains the research and consumer / trade insights it needs at the quality required for better planning and execution.
- Embed consumer centrality in all layers of Marketing by providing the marketing team with appropriate training in the effective use of marketing research system and information analysis.
8.Participate in the definition of regulatory and excise strategy and consumer pricing guidelines, providing market context and consumer requirements, and developing strategic scenarios (e.g. price war)
Manage budget for all the initiatives performed in the Planning and Insights area to ensure synergy, objectivity, and prioritization of spend by working closely with area SP&I team.
9.Manage an efficient and effective SP&I team to develop and provide forward-looking, actionable insight with a consumer centric perspective.
10.Provide extensive on the job coaching to the P&I executive to ensure we have competent and top quality people in the team and continuity in the business.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to solve conflicts.
- Involve and get input from all relevant areas of the business.
- Coordination between Brand & Trade to ensure alignment across functions.
- University degree in Business Management or related business discipline.
- 3-5 years Managerial experience in a multinational environment, with at least 3 years marketing management.
